Jader Almeida, born in 1981 in Santa Catarina, Brazil, began his journey in the furniture industry at the age of 16, immersing himself in every stage of the production process. Since 2004, he has created over 1,200 products known for their elegant, timeless, and original aesthetic, while also serving as a creative director. With a degree in architecture and more than 120 national and international awards, he has developed a distinctive design language rooted in Brazilian modernism and refined by Bauhaus principles.
His work spans product design, architecture, and artistic curation, guided by a humanistic approach and a meticulous sensitivity to proportion, materiality, and form. His creations transcend stylistic and geographical boundaries, establishing a singular identity in the global design landscape.
With over 2,000 annual citations in specialized publications and a professional biography published in 2014 by Editora C4, Jader Almeida is one of Brazil’s most recognized designers.
