​Niko Kapa is an award-winning architect, industrial designer, and researcher recognized as one of the most influential design practitioners in the Middle East. With offices in London & Dubai, Studio Niko Kapa supports innovation using research as an integral part of the design process with a specific focus on sustainability and the cultural importance of architecture and design.

His work builds on the emotional connection developed between users and occupied space as well as the relationship between natural and manufactured environments. With an interest in pioneering research and investigation, he explores visual arts’ and design’s ability to communicate cultural content examining how new fields can interface among traditions of craft with technology and how material effects can be tuned to human occupancy.
