Calyx is an occasional side table designed to support cascading botanical arrangements while functioning as a display surface in modern home interior spaces.
Inspired by the botanical calyx— the structure that supports and protects a flower bud— the table provides a healthy living environment for 4.5” potted plants, allowing for more convenient & thorough watering through the opening.
Turned from spalted sweet gum wood and supported by a welded steel frame.
