The Gregory chair was inspired by the works of Scandinavian designers Alvar Aalto and Bruno Matsson, in particular by their experiments with wood bending, as well as by Bent Akerblom, a Swedish hygienist, who constructed the chair back line and the seat, the most consistent with the anatomical and physiological characteristics of a body.

Bio
Being a designer, engineer and cabinet maker, I am well aware of technologies and materials, especially wood. I can work on tailor-made orders as well as developing product lines. I have my own studio for 8 years, making limited designer furniture and wooden toys, and working on individual projects in collaboration with other designers, museums, art spaces.
