The HOOKS wall installation by MAOMI is a design coat rack and innovative art object in one. The idea of the form comes from the hand of an artist with whom MAOMI collaborates and was then cast and glazed by hand from natural stoneware in the production facility in Sri Lanka. Instead of passing on a 3D model to factories for mass production, a transnational collaboration takes place here, from one creative hand to another, from workshop to workshop.

The family-run manufactory in Sri Lanka attaches great importance to social fairness - this was very important to MAOMI when selecting its production partner. Special emphasis is also placed on equality and inclusion - sustainability is not only lived here in an ecological sense, but also in a social sense.

In colour and shape, HOOKS are reminiscent of pebbles that have been finely polished by water. Their feel conveys a pleasant warmth due to their natural origin and combines aesthetic pleasure with minimalist functionality.

When the HOOKS are mounted on the wall, the user's creativity comes into play. There are no limits to the installation - HOOKS can be attached as desired to create different works of art, indoors or outdoors.
