MGM reflects the natural environment of its location. Sitting at waterfront, we created a tranquil experience inspired by the essence of Maryland. Incorporating fine details such as an earth-excavated illustrated map, white oak finishes, and robust architectural features, we designed a hotel that spoke to the people of Maryland while prioritizing sustainability with a GOLD LEED certification.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a thirty foot hand blown glass and bronze cascading chandelier setting the ambience of the hotel lobby. Collaborating with local artist, Margaret Boozer, we commissioned an illustrated map of National Harbor made from the land of Maryland itself, positioned directly behind the front desk. Cherry blossoms can be seen throughout the hotel, extending into the elevator interiors and guestrooms paying homage to the famed cherry blossom season of Maryland and D.C. Floor to ceiling windows further assist the integration between the indoor and outdoor elements of National Harbor, giving guests an unparalleled view of historic landmarks including the Capitol, National Monument, and the Potomac River.
