The clean lines and uncluttered form of the Lydia chair showcase the fine details and precision of its workmanship. Hand-cut exposed joinery highlights the contrasting colours and linear grain of the wood. Chosen for its nobility, rich and smooth colour and stability, the solid walnut structural is finished with a soothing natural oil sealer. The Lydia chair is at the same time delicate and solid, fluid, and precise. The warm subtle hue of the soft Italian fabric is complimented by a full-bodied texture that beckons to be touched. Since the times of its origin, the rocking chair has been a vehicle for reflection. With the upmost attention placed on a perfectly balanced rocker, the Lydia creates smooth and rhythmic flow enticing a state of relaxation, and comfort for which it was intended.
