The user can not only use it as a fan, but also utilize it as a room lamp. The fan are made with bamboo and Japanese traditional paper called “ Wa-shi”. In general, a fan is used only very specific season. So, I tried to explore the new way of usage by combining with room illumination.
Bio My name is Tomoya Ono. I am a Product Design student of College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I have a great interest in product design. Creating innovative products is my aspiration. I grew up in Japan and I’m a native Japanese speaker. I bring dual-perspectives of both Japanese and US culture.
