Fika is an outdoor chair meant to give employees a moment to themselves in workplaces, open office plans lead to infringement of employees' privacy. The aim was to carve your own personal space using furniture!
In terms of material, Dyed cotton threads have been used to create a subconscious contact between nature and the user. The surface of the chair (cotton weave) creates tiny pockets and isolates the user from the surrounding. The design and the process have evolved from a deeper understanding of the purpose of outdoor furniture and socio-cultural factors.
