Located in the heart of Adliya, this lounge redefines luxury with a seamless blend of modern sophistication and cultural heritage. The design features hexagonal shapes on walls and ceilings, rich marble flooring crafted from 415 natural pieces, and a magnificent chandelier of 78,000 mother of pearl shells, inspired by the Verner Panton ceiling. This centerpiece ties the space to Bahrain’s pearling heritage, adding a dynamic interplay of light and texture.
A whimsical corridor with Cole & Son wallpaper creates a dramatic transition to the grand powder room lobby, delivering a bold "wow factor" with playful and artistic patterns. Luxurious velvet fabrics in burgundy and emerald green complement warm gold and brass accents, enhancing the opulence and vibrancy of the space.
The color palette of burgundy, emerald green, cream pearl white, black, and metallic tones balances richness with sophistication. Hidden air conditioning systems, cleverly integrated into ceilings and pillars, ensure comfort without compromising aesthetics. This lounge is a celebration of palatial grandeur, glamour, and cultural significance in Bahrain's vibrant Adliya district.
Bio Mohamed Alqari is a Bahraini architect, interior designer, and founder of Qreative Design Studio. His work blends luxury, functionality, and cultural storytelling to create spaces that are both elegant and deeply livable. Drawing inspiration from heritage, art, and craftsmanship, he is known for designing highly personalized residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors throughout the GCC. His projects balance timeless sophistication with contemporary expression, resulting in immersive environments rich in character and detail.
