Kaef armchair carries on a tradition of classical lounge chairs defined by the low-placed and inclined seat, comfortable armrests and the presence of footstool. Kaef’s shape is inspired by the works of Soviet designers, avant-garde artists of the 1920s and the Bauhaus school. The round-shaped parts of the armchair are upholstered in textile, while its frame is made of bent steel pipe. The armchair is firm and durable: if the need occurs, its parts can be replaced or refurbished by renewing the frame covering and upholstery fabric. Kaef armchair and footstool are designed by Delo and produced in series.
