10° chair: a chair to help the elderly get up.
The aging process leads to a natural decline in muscle tone and bone density, which results in decreased mobility, stability, strength and endurance. As we age, it becomes more difficult to move as a matter of course. Simply getting up from a chair can be difficult for some older adults due to loss of muscle mass and strength. This is exacerbated by our increasingly sedentary work and lifestyle. the 10° chair assists you by stepping on the foot bar to distribute the user's own weight as leverage, and by following this tilting motion with the armrests to ensure stability. Inspired by contemporary choices of materials and expressions (aesthetic and functional), the 10° chair assumes its domestic role by assisting this universal action of getting up from the chair, a considered overall product. For some older people, simply getting up from a chair is difficult. This is exacerbated by our increasingly sedentary work and lifestyles. The extended and ergonomic form is complemented by armrests, a spacious seat and a gently curved back. Empowering and enabling assistive items of furniture for the elderly.
