With this project I tried to rethink the classic coffee table design. The mix between wood and stainless steel blends in naturally with the room and creates an abstractly floating surface. Contradicting lines give the design its edgy look. The glas on top invites a look on the frame and because its transparency doesn't occupy as much visual room.
All in all the design is meant to be a subtle elegant addition to any room rather than a dominating piece of furniture and at the same time radically shows the observer its static and aesthetic.
