The Oloid Seat is a conceptual furniture piece for urban public parks. It draws inspiration from the oloid, a three-dimensional curved object, and seeks to exemplify geometric perfection. The upright base of the seat is constructed from cast concrete, while the seat itself is made from reclaimed railroad ties. The seat features LED underglow lighting, and the footpath is shaped to resemble the path that an oloid creates when rolled. The Oloid Seat embraces mathematical beauty and allows city dwellers to appreciate nature in a world that is filled with machines.
