BOTO-CHAIR
The BOTO-CHAIR is a playful implementation of a seating option that invites you to sit from an upright
to leaning or to linger.
Its strikingly different shape arouses curiosity and shows that it wants to be tried out and used.
By changing the position of the body, the right position for the moment can be found. Whether it is to
be a longer conscious sitting or a a short wait or a dynamic change between these possibilities,
which keep the user active and support his attention.
Therefore, this type of design is suitable for casual atmospheres from lounge areas to
short-term waiting areas such as hotel lobbies or stop areas, as well as for ad hoc meetings
or for recreational spots in companies with their corporate culture
This functionality could also be supported by the addition of cushions or upholstery pads.
The elasticity of the moulded wood is controlled by the type of wood, the thickness of the layers
and the type of gluing, in order to adapt it optimally to the requirements or expectations
of the material and to achieve the optimum tension and thickness.
