Heallywood is a furniture design studio founded in Guangzhou, we try to conjure up big emotions with a minimum of local resources. Inspired by the silhouette from human face, “Face stool” is created by rotating the silhouette around its own axis. Everyone have their own silhouette, we would like to record the perfect moment of each people. In the individual silhouettes, it is possible to recognize their aesthetic. The manufacturing process gathers both 3D printing and hand-crafting processes, which would mean exclusivity and added emotional value.
