The inspiration for WATERFALL comes from the endless cycle of water which is captured in nature's inevitable uncertainty and asymmetry.

All the angles, shapes, and techniques for the chair are specifically used to translate the natural cycle into its minimalistic form.

The overall shape of the chair shows the very flow of water in nature. The unexpected, and unbalanced current rapidly falls from the top, and when it reaches the seat, the water spreads out widely, but firmly to all sectors, eventually coming back to its origin.

Kerf-bending is the key technique used for the chair. Each and every wooden wedge inserted represents the living organisms that follow the ever-flowing water.

Its flexible yet sturdy structure fits perfectly in a living room or patio where its natural shape can blend in with the open and nature-friendly environment.
