My concept was inspired by Vanessa Mitrani's amazing vase/fishbowl we saw in Roche Bobais showroom. The design name “Skubbe” refer to the fish scales in my home language, Afrikaans.
II have chosen recycled glass as a material to represent the sea and metal sheeting for the fish scales, My luminare is a representation of the fish swimming in the water. In my design, I used metals of various sizes and colours to represent different types and sizes of fish. The gold/brass lining in the fish's eyes led me to choose a brass-colored design
The table lamp LED light bulb I have proposed is an LED E27 A60 Clear Filament Bulb 8W, a colour temperature of 2700K (warm white), and is designed to burn at a higher efficiency for up to 15000 hours. The luminaire is suitable for any contemporary residential interior.
