This tufted wood chair is made with walnut and white ash. Each diamond section is individually cut, hand-shaped, sanded, and then assembled. The edge pieces are angled slightly to provide contour and depth. The buttons are carved from a dowel and penetrate the back side. The legs are shaped to resemble cow hooves, paying homage to this plant-based leather piece.
While your eyes may see cushioned leather, the piece is made entirely from wood.
