This chair came from my desire as a designer to explore lines, and figuring when is enough, when the object is undeniably a chair and when it is not. bridging the gap between a chair and a memory of a chair, and finding the middle ground that in my opinion creates virtuous design. Exploring and taking inspiration from iconic chair to evoke the sense of memory for future users, playing with line weight and proportions, and experimenting with a more contemporary take on its CMF. Trying to create a sense of "new familiarity" and delight with this pleasant object. A chair that fits in almost every home, office or workspace. where you can enjoy looking or sitting on it, with a peculiar "cuteness" and a sense of familiarity. almost a memory of a chair, but still a chair.
Made from Steel and with an oven coat finish.
