At the Faculty of Design we developed a multifunctional van with the initiative of two leading companies in the European caravanning industry. Students of the third year of interior design took part in the Two in One project. The starting point of the task was how to design a system solution for modular furniture, with which the owner transforms a normal van, which is used for business or private purposes during the week, into a functional vacation vehicle in less than 30 minutes. The presented project is designed as a multifunctional system. Furniture for a motorhome allows the owner of the motorhome to use a personal vehicle for travel and living, while also using it for field work. Transformation of purpose is possible without changing or adding new equipment. The student designed an innovative solution for which he produced detailed construction documentation in cooperation with a constructor from the company. The company also produced a prototype in real life size. He was independent and creative at work.
