Our Studio is comprised of Architects, Interior Designers, Product Designers, and Fabricators. Our team works at a range of scales, from the master planning, the building itself, down to the smallest of details like built-in furniture. This project is a result of all of the disciplines in our studio working together, every room was conceptualized, designed, fabricated, and installed by our team.

Our client has a deep love affair with the American Film Director Stanley Kubrick and wanted us to integrate one of their favorite films, the 1980 Horror film “The Shining,” into their home in Park City, Utah. Our clients are an incredibly creative group of people; they are product designers, artists, and film producers themselves. So it was clear from the beginning we would search for ways to integrate the film's spirit but with our design intentions and style. We researched the film's intent and breakdown each scene to select what key areas we would reference. It was decided we would use Room 237 and the Green bathroom, the Red bathroom, the Bar scene, and lastly, the theater room would reference the elevator scene, which we believed to be one of the most memorable moments in the film.
