The Stanley wall shelf features planks of reclaimed oak sourced from local NYC trees that fell or were planned for removal. This sustainable wood finds new life in your home as a beautiful shelf with a story. It’s the perfect place for picture frames, plants, and other home accessories.

These trees are from a partnership with NYC Parks and Green-Wood Cemetery. They are mostly recovered after storm damage or removed due to construction. In the case of removal for construction NYC has a strong tree restitution policy that ensures replanting to maintain our vibrant urban forest. The hope is that products like Stanley shelves will inspire wider use of NYC salvaged wood and expand this new system being developed in urban cities.
