LILY Carousel is a playground carousel which is inspired from its namesake flower, the water lily. It is targeted for children to enjoy in the setting of outdoor playgrounds. As it is rare for new types of carousels to be designed and introduced, LILY Carousel strove to take on this challenge through intertwining inspiration from nature, playfulness, safety, symbolism and a cohesive concept.

The carousel is similar in function to the traditional one, albeit the handle rods are abstracted to resemble the petals of a lily, while the base resembles the pad on which lilies float lazily upon in the water. The base of the carousel is made of rubber with rounded edges for extra safety. The support rods - on which the rubber base is held - are inspired from the veins which support the surface area of lily pads. When in spin, the carousel takes on a three dimensional shape.

The lily historically is a symbol of purity and innocence, thus tying in thematically with children.
