The harmony of traditions and modernity together in one object.
"Khatamkari" is an ancient Persian handicrafts which has certain traditional patterns . We have designed the patterns of "Khatamkari" in a new specific way for the modern form of the mirror frame.
We beleive traditions must be up to date and flexible, in order to be contemporary.
When traditions have no change, they disappear in time and they become stereotypical, while having so much potential in design.
The lines of the body is designed unorganized and unsymmetrical unlike the precise patterns of traditions.

Bio
TAAG studio is engaged in the production of One-off Designed handmade furniture. Each product is created only once, has no duplicates, and will never be produced again.
Priority is to use ancient Persian art and handicrafts in a new style and pattern in our design process.
