In today’s fast-paced world, we often find ourselves spending excessive time on our phones, even when we’re in the company of others. We become engrossed in our devices, missing meaningful face-to-face interactions. So why not take a moment to set our phones aside and truly connect with those around us?

This stool was designed with that idea in mind—a piece that encourages us to put down our phones and engage in more genuine interactions. Its unique, robot-like appearance reflects a playful twist on traditional seating, sparking curiosity and conversation.

Inside the box-shaped seating area, soft and hard foam sheets are layered, each covered with fabric. The foam’s elasticity allows the seat to sink under weight, offering a comfortable, and then returns to its original shape once the pressure is released.

The stool includes a small walnut storage box at the bottom, providing a place to temporarily store phones and other valuables while you enjoy a moment of conversation.
