The Lamiera project combines aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability through the use of innovative materials and modular design.
The structure consists of two distinct modules that, when placed side by side, form a single larger unit, but can also be used individually as standalone seats, offering flexible usage. The main material used is a 3 mm thick sheet metal, chosen for its recyclability and durability.
Attention to comfort led to modifications such as an extended seat and the addition of an anchoring point for greater stability.
Assembly is optimized to reduce time and complexity, involving the use of a template to drill the base, securing the seat to the frame with a support surface, flipping the structure to mount the backrests, and anchoring the frame to the base.
Modularity allows for minimal bulk, making transport and assembly easier. The minimalist design and the choice of sustainable materials ensure strength and versatility, optimizing production costs and reducing waste.
