TipTap Tables were born from the intention of creating clear, elemental furniture: simple to execute, easy to transport and assemble, yet capable of communicating its constructive process in a playful, graphic way. Over time, five tables were designed for five specific situations.
T1 is a small, flexible table for study, meals, or other uses, built in marine plywood and powder-coated MDF. The contrast between dark coat and pine veneer highlights its construction.
T2 is larger, for office or dining use, with an oak top and chestnut legs. Their junction clarifies structure and can serve as a cable port. Solid wood evolves with use, enriching the piece.
CT1 is a low coffee table combining chestnut and Estremoz marble, the warmth of wood embedded in cool marble.
CT2, also a coffee table, draws from jewellery: a lacquered MDF structure lightly holds a marble top, the stone as focal point.
LT1 is a long table (with 75/90 cm heights), for dining or counter use, mixing plywood and lacquered MDF. With unusual dimensions and overhangs, it minimises barriers, maximises visual impact, and references historical long tables.
