At first glance, Ánthesis appears as a slender, pentagonal column. Its surface is calm and contained, a small pedestal for a vase, a sculpture, or another treasured object. In this state, the piece stands closed and reserved, its inner world concealed. The acrylic elements capture and reflect every glimmer that finds its way through the spaces between the ash wood structure. The light source within the base transforms Ánthesis into a luminous sculpture, a five-sided prism.

The capital and base, held in place by hidden magnets, are gently lifted away. The column opens, unfolding like a flower that stretches toward the light. What has just been hidden inside turns outward, revealing its full potential. The base and capital are returned to their positions completing the transformation.

In full bloom, the five petals present themselves as shelves. They wrap gracefully around the stem, offering space for the objects that accompany quiet moments — a book, a pair of glasses, a cup of tea, a freshly baked cookie… The placement of the shelves enables Ánthesis to become a natural companion beside an armchair, anticipating the needs of its user.
