For over a millennium, the classic director's chair has remained steadfast in design and purpose. The Directa Chair reinvents the classic...for today. Warm teak provides structural foundation and tactile comfort, while stainless steel rods create an impossibly strong folding mechanism. Stainless steel’s natural corrosion resistance ensures the chair adapts seamlessly to any environment, from poolside to studio. This thoughtful pairing results in a chair that feels both grounded and weightless.
The stainless steel folding mechanism utilizes classic director's chair X-geometry with a proven over-center locking design, allowing the chair to fold to under 6 inches thick. The canvas seat and back stretch taut when deployed, creating the iconic director's chair silhouette with contemporary refinement. A matching side table extends the system, serving as ottoman, stool, or table as needed.
