Levitation is a sculptural table lamp that explores the relationship between movement and balance through light. Composed of two arc-shaped elements rotating around their own axis, the design generates ever-changing configurations, allowing users to redefine both the direction of light and the atmosphere of the space. This dynamic interaction transforms the user into an active participant, enabling a continuously evolving spatial experience.
The lamp consists of a solid marble base and two movable marble elements connected through a refined metal joint, allowing smooth vertical rotation. A linear LED lighting system, integrated within a recessed channel along the curvature of the arcs and softened by an opal diffuser, creates a continuous and homogeneous light surface. This system ensures visual comfort, balanced luminance, and a seamless integration between form and light.
The natural weight and texture of marble provide a timeless presence, while the movable structure introduces variability and motion. Levitation functions as a transformable spatial element that adapts to different user scenarios and interior atmospheres.
