Named after the African elephant genus Loxodonta, the Loxo Chair translates the comfort of leaning against a gentle giant into structural seating. Drawing form and texture inspiration from Maurizio Cattelan’s Not Afraid of Love, an organic, trunk-like backrest is paired with a thin, classic seat. To replicate the trunk's texture, faux leather, Dacron, and down feathers are hand-stitched into deep wrinkles. The backrest's drooping curves are mirrored in wood-turned stretchers to establish cohesive visual rhythm.
