Revitalizing an aged edifice, this project highlights raw structural beauty through visible beams and columns. Inspired by water's transformative states—solid ice, liquid water, and gaseous steam—it interprets nature's lifecycle, merging modern visuals with sustainable methods. The design integrates grinding stone, bare wood, and soil sections with metallic and mirrored accents, creating a modern space that converses with nature. Indoor clouds formed by grapevines and metal mesh bestow a majestic air, completing this eco-conscious transformation.

Embracing the building's historical fabric, this project infuses it with eco-friendly solutions, such as a basement refrigeration system that efficiently cools a striking diamond wine cabinet above. This feature epitomizes energy conservation, aligning with sustainable principles like minimizing environmental impact and optimizing resource use. Beyond its visual allure, the design is a testament to environmental stewardship, marrying the past's legacy with future-facing, green practices.
