"Flock of Sheep" is a modular furniture concept inspired by the communal behavior of sheep, designed to foster social interaction in public spaces. Its sheep-shaped modules are soft to touch and can be rearranged to create varied seating arrangements, encouraging people to gather and engage. The design aims to replicate the cohesive, serene presence of sheep, enhancing the atmosphere of public areas. The research behind the project involved a mixed-methods study, revealing that modular, tactile seating significantly increases social engagement compared to traditional fixed seating. "Flock of Sheep" creates an inviting and inclusive space that promotes community and interaction, making it a valuable addition to public spaces looking to enhance social connectivity.
