Named after the Willow Tree as a symbol of flexibility and strength, the Willow Table is designed for storage and functionality in tight spaces. With a touch of the finger, it gracefully unfolds into an elegant tabletop and folds compactly into itself for storage when not in use.
It is inspired by the Cubist artists. Says the designer, “Cubism is about looking at things in a different way – an abstraction or distortion of the literal. I think about how the aesthetic can be developed architecturally, i.e., solid structure and honest, well-made, long-lasting materials. Cubist-inspired pieces celebrate the resultant angles formed when shapes are bent or truncated (much like a cubist drawing or painting).”
