Inspired by great designs of the past and present, Conifer is honest and unobtrusive down to the last detail. Designed with PaperShell in mind, an incredible and innovative environmentally friendly material ensures that the end user knows they are making a conscious choice for a better future.
Each material was selected with their inevitable end of life in mind, reducing waste rather than adding to it. Conifer’s use of materials unburdened by non essentials is a showcase of what these materials can do. The uniformity of the wood that creates the arms and legs speaks to a pristine level of minimalism.
Even the smallest crafted elements were considered. These connections could have been hidden, covered, painted over so as to not draw any attention to them. Instead they were given their space to shine creating a deeper understanding and connection between the object and user.
This is Conifer, designed today but timeless in spirit, fitting seamlessly into any era past, present, or future.
