The CH90 chair is a blend of simplicity and elegance, rethinking the classic chair with precise 90-degree angles and hand-crafted iron sheets. While most of the chair follows the 90-degree theme, the backrest tilts slightly for added functionality and comfort. It finds the perfect balance between being familiar and unique, combining practical use with a standout design.
HOW IT'S MADE
Hand crafted chair made from 2mm iron sheets.The design brings the 90 degree angle to the forefront, using it as the overall theme of the chair. A modern reframing of the basic chair, emphasizing exquisite detail, and harmonious proportions.
PROCESS
I reached my final design after a series of meticulous model making. I started from cardboard prototypes at a 1:3 scale and continued with several 1:1 iron models.
