A modular, expandable sofa made of solid ash wood – completely metal-free, with interlocking joints and visible traditional wood connections. The rounded forms give the sofa a light appearance despite its solid construction. It is stable, durable, and blends harmoniously into any living space with its light, white-oiled ash wood and simple upholstery. The broad armrests serve as practical storage surfaces. The sofa is perfect for both small and large rooms and can also be used as a sofa bed. The high-quality upholstery fabric is removable and easy to clean. Thanks to its modular design, the sofa is easy to transport and fits through any door or hallway. A durable piece of furniture that will last for generations. The sofa is entirely self-built, making it a unique, personal piece.
Bio I am a trained carpenter, designer in the craft industry, and design student. With my background in carpentry, I enjoy working with solid wood and traditional wood joints, using modern CNC technology. My design language combines organic shapes and curves with clear lines, creating timeless and durable pieces with attention to detail. While wood is my primary material, I am particularly interested in learning various new trades, such as upholstery, and working with ceramics and glass.
