Jumpatell – the piece of furniture created for a fun life, for those who want to play, be social, and stay creative. Inspired by the metal bars of an old industrial building in southern Stockholm.
Designed for playful seating with bouncing springs that invite both laughter and active focus. The entire piece is made from parts of a worn-out trampoline that I was given. The padding and fabric also come from the trampoline—I want to show that the materials we discard around us have life and potential that we often fail to see.
Enormous amounts of trampolines are thrown away every year, but why shouldn’t we repurpose them into something better than landfill waste? Here is my example of a piece of furniture born from trash.
