Morpho is a celebration of nature's beauty and the relation between organic forms and industrial materials. Drawing inspiration from the Morpho butterfly, this metal chair relates to my strong attachment with my hometown's lush ecological environment. The chair's design follows the fragile but striking beauty of the wings of a butterfly: its backrest and seat resemble fluttering wings. A holographic texture decorates these surfaces, emulating the iridescent scales that grant the Morpho its characteristic shimmer.

While these slender legs are somewhat reminiscent of those of a butterfly, this chair supports structure with lightness. Designed to be versatile in its use, Morpho remains at ease, both indoors and outdoors in gardens or open urban public spaces, to catalyze pauses that create moments for rest and interactions between people. Nature is captured within this piece, but also its produced dynamism; nature and man collide, catching not only beauty but functionality and inspiration combined.
