Inspired by the classic Chinese Horseshoe chair, this design offers a modern, minimalist take. The traditional cross-connections have been removed to create a cleaner, more tranquil aesthetic, while the seat's cross-slats are slightly raised to maintain structural integrity.
The curved arm- and backrest start as a slim round bar, widening at the back for added comfort and support. To highlight its lightness, slender metal rods connect the backrest to the seat, giving the chair a distinctive shape. Buyers can personalize the chair by selecting the colours for the metal rods and seat, adding a fresh, playful touch.
The seat is made from a woven net of recycled plastic, which can be reused at the end of its life. The frame is crafted from PEFC-certified wood and finished with an eco-friendly oil. Once the chair reaches the end of its lifecycle, it can be returned and recycled.
