The Spindrift Table draws inspiration from reflections cast on the ocean floor created by sunlight passing through rippling waves. Mimicking the hypnotic nature of these reflections, the table does not have any repetitive elements in its visual form, making it appear differently from every angle it is viewed from. The Spindrift Table is designed to be a bespoke furniture piece produced in small batches or as a one-off item.

Measuring roughly 717 mm wide and 239 mm high, the Spindrift Table is a small but impactful piece of furniture. Functioning as a coffee table, its organic form makes it a sculptural centrepiece in any room. The Spindrift Table consists of two components: a 6 mm thick sheet of clear, toughened glass supported by a 3D printed fiberglass base. The 3D print was done in 14 individual parts out of PLA plastic which were joined together with dovetail joins. The plastic was coated in sheets of fiberglass and resin to ensure structural stability and longevity. Automotive body filler was used to emphasise the harsher edges and fill in imperfections. After hours of sanding and meticulous sculpting, the base was coated with metallic cobalt blue automotive paint.
