This cabinet reflects the landscape of my hometown, capturing its beautiful natural environment. It features a majestic mountain and a lush, well-maintained forest, which have been carefully nurtured over the years. Alongside this natural beauty, there are numerous square-shaped gray apartments that mirror the distinct residential features of my hometown.
Though these two elements might seem at odds at first glance, they have harmonized over time, creating a unique balance. Together, they embody "the beauty of line," where lines are both organic and geometric in nature.
Additionally, the cabinet is designed for easy separation, with each section securely connected using hidden T-nuts and screws.
Bio I make furniture and occasionally sculpture. I’m interested in revealing the tensions and contrasts between organic and geometric lines in my work. I work primarily with wood as my chosen medium. I have a deep passion for Korean traditional beauty and strives for a Korean ‘look’ to my designs.
