THEO Armchair was designed as a place for pause: a piece to relax deeply, let the body’s weight go, and be present. Its concept brings together warmth and structural clarity in a continuous form, where the wooden structure is a single, sculptural element. The high, shell-like backrest envelops the body and creates a sense of shelter, while the arms provide support and the incline guides the user into a more relaxed, ergonomic posture, inviting lingering. With its versatility, THEO adapts to different everyday settings: good conversations in the living room, reading by the window, rest and reflection, and also moments of care, such as the calm of breastfeeding. The piece was born from an emotional motivation linked to the birth of Theo, the designer’s son, translating into design the desire to accompany life through different meaningful phases. The result is an armchair that is beautiful and quiet, yet never goes unnoticed—made to slow down: sit, breathe, read, talk, and stay.
