This project interprets children’s furniture through the lens of Russian cultural archetypes and architectural thinking. The design is based on simple volumetric elements — cylindrical supports and a horizontal platform — forming a stable and grounded composition.
Inspired by Leshi, a forest guardian in Slavic mythology, the object embodies protection, presence, and quiet support. It is not a literal reference, but a translation of meaning into form.
The bench is designed as a shared environment for children and adults. It supports multiple scenarios — play, rest, and interaction — encouraging physical closeness and communication.
The soft tactile surface ensures safety, while the clear geometry introduces structure and spatial awareness from an early age. The project proposes a contemporary interpretation of Russian style through archetype, material presence, and logic of form.
