This project responds to the increasing overlap between work and relaxation in compact living spaces. Designed to support everyday laptop use in both focused and informal settings, it combines versatility, comfort, and functionality within a compact, sculptural form. Developed in response to a brief investigating the relationship between AI-driven processes and craftsmanship, the design explores how digital tools can inform form while remaining grounded in material quality.

Its U/L-shaped structure enables two modes of use. In its upright position, it functions as a stable and ergonomic workspace. When reoriented, the table tilts and one leg slides beneath a sofa, transforming into a side table suited for relaxed browsing or media use.

A leather-lined compartment provides secure storage for laptops of various sizes, with a partially exposed edge that references the precise insertion and visibility of SD cards in digital devices. The piece was prototyped and exhibited during Milan Design Week 2025.
